The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

50 years ago this past June, I graduated from Penn State. Since that time, many events have shaped my life. I did pursue music around the Harrisburg, PA area by performing in our local theater and by singing at weddings and professionally for organizations. I also sang in a choir at our synagogue for over 20 years. I was married in 1961 and my husband Arthur and I have 2 children, Aaron and Jennifer, who graduated from Penn State in the 1980's Jenn also received an MBA while working. Our son lives in Harrisburg with his wife and 2 sons and Jenn lives in Bala Cynwyd with her husband and daughter. My brother, Jerry Morrison and his son Eric are also PSU grads. Our dad, Samuel Morrison, who died in January at 99 years of age, was a PSU grad in 1932. In 1981, I reentered the work force when I went to work at the Dauphin County District Attorney's office. My last years there were in the part of the office that handled first time offenders..called ARD. It was an eye-opening experience to say the least! I have been active in many volunteer organizations in many capacities. I still volunteer my time and efforts to one organization in particular, Hadassah. We love to come to State College, especially in the fall for football games. Our lives are full. I will always remember my days at Penn State, especially Thespians and losing a shoe while doing a "Rockette" type dance!
